MembershipWhy Become a Member of the European Children's Network?Benefits of Membership As a member of the European Children's Network you will become part of a wide network of children’s organisations and associations who work for the rights of Europe’s 100 million children. Being a member of the European Children's Network also means:
Full Members include national and transnational NGOs, and networks of national and transnational NGOs, with children as their principal focus. Members in this category must be established in an EU Member State and undertake work on the rights of the child in one or more Member State(s). Associate Members include national and transnational NGOs, and networks of national and transnational NGOs, who do not have children as their principal focus. Additionally, national or transnational organisations and networks who are not NGOs may also become associate members. Associate members must be established in Europe and undertake work that has some benefit, directly or indirectly, for children. Member organisations are expected to subscribe to the European Children's Network’s principles and objectives. EURONET Membership feesFinancial contributions from our membership are necessary to guarantee the independence and functioning of the organisation. Membership fees are defined according to the specific nature and financial capacity of the applicant organisation. Membership Application ProcedureTo apply for membership, organisations must submit the European Children's Network application form. Applications for admission as a member should be directed to the EURONET Secretariat by mail, or any other means of written communication (including email), accompanied by the following information: staffing, membership base, annual income, structure, statutes, and principle activities. The EURONET Management Council may require the Secretariat to seek additional information from the applicant organisation.
